Sheffield Wednesday fans now all saying the same thing after what Will Vaulks has done

Sheffield Wednesday fans have reacted after their first team star won an award for the third year in a row.

Sheffield Wednesday have endured a real turbulent campaign, having spent a majority of it sat in the relegation zone, as well as enduring heavy defeats to the likes of Ipswich Town, Huddersfield, Southampton and Millwall.

However, it’s not all doom and gloom at Hillsborough. The Owls now sit only a point from safety and have given themselves a very good chance at staying up, while they still have the almighty Danny Rohl at the helm.

Rohl also has a number of quality players at his disposal, with the likes of Ike Ugbo, Ian Poveda and Marvin Johnson catching the eye since the turn of the year.

One player that has impressed both on and off the pitch is Will Vaulks, who has made 19 starts in the Championship this term and has become an important figure under Rohl.

Vaulks is also working wonders off the pitch too though, having scooped the award for the EFL Championship Player in the Community for the 2023/24 season for the third time.

A statement on the club’s official website read: “Will Vaulks has won the award for his strong and supportive connection to the Club’s Community Programme work and his wider charitable commitments including the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice and the role he played in executing The Baton of Hope relay for mental health awareness.”

Vaulks was also praised earlier this year for his work with Sheffield Wednesday’s U18s in his spare time.

Supporters have now reacted to the 30-year-old’s award on social media.
