Man United’s disrespect for Wolves

Many clubs are set to undergo a big change this summer. With the 2023/24 campaign now coming to a close plans are now being set in motion for next season.

Man United are one such club after a poor year. It is looking likely that the Red Devils will not get Champions League football and it is still possible Wolves catch the side in the table.

As a result, it was reported that the Red Devils may well be pursuing Gary O’Neil who has been performing miracles at Wolves this season. However, this would not be in a managerial role but rather as the coaching staff.

This has been regarded as not only as highly disrespectful to Wolves but to O’Neil himself.

It has been nearly two weeks since Wolves played a match. For many, this will have given fans time to recover after their dramatic loss to Coventry in the FA Cup at Molineux.

However, in this time, multiple players have had time away from the training ground to play for their country.

Rayan Ait-Nouri continued his fine form for Algeria. However, one man could only put in a 4/10 in his 45-minute cameo.

One big loss for Wolves in recent weeks has been Cunha. The attacker was on fire in 2024 before an injury against Brentford sidelined him.

Since then, Wolves have struggled up top with dwindling numbers each week in the first-team.

However, there seems to be more optimistic news surrounding the Brazilian upon the conclusion of the international break. Hopes have now emerged that he could well play a part against Villa after a teased video from Wolves.
