Secret Starbucks drink that tastes exactly like Nutella will be your new go-to

Starbucks has yummy new drinks on the menu every season, but it’s always the unique creations that are the best, like the Iced Nutella Latte.

Known as the ‘Secret Menu’, there are thousands of drinks Starbucks fans have created using the coffee chain’s ingredients, and this one is based on the famous spread.

Starbucks’ Iced Nutella Latte

The Iced Nutella Latte is a sweet coffee with hints of chocolate and hazelnut, that tastes like Ferrero’s much-loved chocolate spread.

It doesn’t actually have any Nutella in it, but the ingredients used mimic the flavor of the spread, and people say it tastes exactly like it.

“It’s chocolatey, hazelnutty, you’re gonna love this,” one TikTok user said.

Nutella dates back to 1946, when an Italian man called Pietro Ferrero owned a bakery in Alba, an Italian town known for the production of hazelnuts.

He turned the nuts into a spreadable cream called Supercrema gianduja in 1951, which Ferrero’s son later modified and renamed Nutella. The first jar left the factory in April 1964.

How to order an Iced Nutella Latte

  • Ask for a Venti Iced Latte
  • Add 3 pumps of White Mocha
  • Add 3 pumps Hazelnut Syrup
  • Add Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam
  • Ask for Caramel and Mocha Drizzle

Most people prefer to have the drink iced, although it can be made hot too, just tell your barista which you’d prefer.

Try the Nutella Cold Brew too

Another Nutella also popular on social media is the Nutella Cold Brew, which is being dubbed a healthier option.

You ask for a normal Cold Brew and add one pump of White Mocha, one pump of Hazelnut and one pump of sugar-free vanilla.

The drink only comes in at around 70 calories and isn’t quite as sweet, but still has that yummy Nutella taste.

The Spring Menu is currently available at Starbucks nationwide, which offers two brand new lavender-flavored drinks.
