Pedestrian stuck and killed on Route 36 is ID’s by cops

Authorities have identified the60-year-old man struck and killed by a vehicle Friday on Route 36 in West Long Branch.

Curtis W. Davis, of Tinton Falls, was hit on the eastbound side near Monmouth Road shortly before 8 p.m, the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office said Monday. Davis was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver, a 38-year-old woman, remained on the scene, officials said. She has not been charged or ticketed.
