8 iPhones won’t be compatible with new iOS18 update

A whole host of iPhones will not be compatible with the upcoming iOS18 update as Apple toys with integrated artificial intelligence software.

iPhones are set for a major shakeup in the coming months as Apple plays with the idea of fully integrated AI. Perhaps more interestingly is the company’s rumored plan of allowing customers to fully customize their home screens.

More on iOS18

Though the developer has confirmed nothing as of yet, industry insiders have teased new features like adaptive voice shortcuts and fully customizable font settings.

Of course, the crowning jewel of the update is the possible AI integration, which was said to include Google’s own controversial system, Gemini. It’s also rumored that Siri will be getting an AI upgrade alongside a brand-new AI buddy called Ajax.

Ajax will reportedly assist with summarizing content and answering complex questions. He will also work across numerous Apple-owned apps including Apple Music, Keynote, Pages, and Messages.
