On Thursday, April 4, Russian forces launched several waves of Shahed drone strikes on Kharkiv. The attacks targeted residential civilian areas, causing damage to residential buildings in the private sector. There have been reports of casualties and injuries as a result of the occupiers' attack, according to Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

"At least 10 people have been injured as a result of the occupiers' attack on Kharkiv, with fatalities reported. All the injured are receiving medical assistance. Multi-story buildings and private sector houses have been damaged," Syniehubov wrote.

Russian night attack on Kharkiv

During the night of April 3-4, explosions were heard in Kharkivaround 01:01 during an air raid alert due to the threat of enemy missile strikes.

It was later reported that Shahed drones had struck private and multi-story residential buildings in Kharkiv. A fire broke out at one of the impact sites. At another site, the floors of a residential building collapsed.

The number of casualties in Kharkiv due to the Russian attack has also increased: five people were killed, and ten others were injured to varying degrees of severity as a result of the Shahed drone attack.
