‘I’ve gone for’: Peter Crouch has now predicted who will win on Sunday – Man Utd or Liverpool

Liverpool head to Old Trafford to face Manchester United on Sunday in what should be a very intriguing clash.

Manchester United have been in rotten form as of late, but, as we all know, the Red Devils often save their best performances for these derby games, and after a remarkable FA Cup clash last month, this one is hard to call.

Liverpool know that they will finish the weekend top of the league if they can beat United, but, of course, that’s easier said than done.

Speaking on his podcast, Peter Crouch has now predicted how this game will go.

Peter Crouch predicts Man Utd vs Liverpool

The pundit gave his verdict on how this game will go.

Crouch, of course, has allegiances to Liverpool having played for the Reds during his career, but he says that this match will be tigher than people expect, ultimately stating that Liverpool will win 2-1.

“I dunno, I think it will be tighter. I think United will be buoyed after the FA Cup win where Liverpool outplayed them and they got the result. I’ve gone for 2-1 Liverpool,” Crouch said.

Liverpool are favourites

The Reds won’t have an easy time of it against United this weekend, but they do head into this game as favourites.

Manchester United have been underwhelming in their last two games, picking up just one point against both Chelsea and Brentford, and their collapse on Thursday night won’t have done their confidence any good.

Meanwhile, Liverpool grabbed an important win against Sheffield United in midweek, and their confidence will be sky high after ascending back to the top of the Premier League table.

This won’t be an easy game for Liverpool, but if all goes to plan, they should be able to get past Man United and re-affirm their advantage at the top of the Premier League.
