Report: What Man United fans were chanting at Chelsea’s Cole Palmer last night, it quickly backfired

Reports have now shared what Manchester United fans were chanting at Cole Palmer during Chelsea’s win last night.

According to the Mirror, the 21-year-old actually altered his celebration in order to send a jibe back at the away supporters who were in Stamford Bridge last night.

Palmer enjoyed arguably his finest evening in a Chelsea shirt as his brilliance led to his side winning 4-3 at home last night.

Palmer saves Chelsea

It looked as if they were going to throw away an early 2-0 lead in embarrassing circumstances, with them trailing deep into added time.

However, the latest winning goal in Premier League history decided it last night, and sent the home fans into raptures.

It had been their counterparts who had been enjoying things up to that stage, and they had not been afraid to let one Blue what they thought of him early on.

United fans called Palmer a ‘City Reject’

The United faithful were keen to remind Palmer of his former side, describing him as a ‘City Reject’.

He responded to this with an alteration to his classic celebration straight after the first of his three goals, cupping his ear slightly to ask why those chants had suddenly stopped.

Chelsea fans were more concerned with getting their thoughts across to Mason Mount as he was making his first appearance for his new club since leaving Stamford Bridge.

They were keen tolet the Englishman know what the score was when he was sat on the bench early in the first half, and did not take too kindly to him being brought on late in the day when his side were already in the lead.

It was the Blues who had the last laugh though with the late win, and Palmer who looks as if he has more than won the battle this season between the two Englishmen.
