West Ham starting lineup vs Wolves confirmed as Moyes makes surprise change

West Ham starting lineup vs Wolves confirmed as David Moyes names a strong XI.

Wolves play host to West Ham in the Premier League at Molineux this afternoon, and David Moyes has selected an attacking lineup for the contest.

The Hammers desperately need all three points this afternoon, if we are to remain in with a shout of finishing inside the top seven this season.

We’re in the midst of a poor run of form in the league, having taken just three points from our last four games.

Every game in the Premier League is tough, we all know that. But now’s the time for West Ham to really kick on.

So how has Moyes decided to tackle the Wolves clash?

Moyes has gone with a really strong lineup, perhaps surprisingly so with the Europa League quarter-final clash with Bayer Leverkusen on the horizon.

The Scot has made one change from the team that drew with Tottenham at the London Stadium on Tuesday night.

Edson Alvarez returns from suspension to replace Michail Antonio, as confirmed via the club’s official X account:

Lukasz Fabianski, Vladimir Coufal, Kurt Zouma, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Emerson Palmieri, Edson Alvarez, Tomas Soucek, James Ward-Prowse, Lucas Paqueta, Jarrod Bowen, Mohammed Kudus

I have to say, I’m very surprised that Moyes chose to drop Antonio rather than Ward-Prowse, but at least he has a strong option from the bench if he needs it now.

There are no excuses this afternoon. Wolves will represent a difficult test for the boys, but we quite simply have to leave Molineux with all three points.

The West Ham starting lineup selected by Moyes is an XI more than capable of causing the hosts all sorts of problems.

I’m going for a 2-1 win, COYI X
