'I've got to go': Luke Littler predicts who will win this weekend - Nottingham Forest or Tottenham

Luke Littler is the darts sensation taking the world by storm and he’s now predicted who will win between Nottingham Forest and Tottenham.

There really is no end to Littler’s potential. He reached the World Championship Final back in January – losing 7-4 to Luke Humphries at the Alexandra Palace.

Since then he’s won the Bahrain Masters and last night he won for the second successive night in the Premier League.

It’s been a good week for Littler and an equally decent week for Forest. The Reds defeated Fulham at the City Ground on Tuesday night to go three points clear of the relegation zone.

Forest won courtesy of goals from Callum Hudson-Odoi, who was praised by his teammates, Chris Wood and Morgan Gibbs-White.

Ahead of the Reds travelling to Tottenham this week in the Premier League, Littler has now been discussing whether or not he thinks Forest can pull off a shock.

Luke Littler predicts who will win on Sunday – Nottingham Forest or Tottenham

Well, it’s fair to say that this is going to be a very tough trip for Forest. Last season, the Reds lost 3-1 at Spurs, with Andre Ayew missing a very late penalty for Steve Cooper’s men.

Now, Littler has had his say. He actually thinks history might repeat itself when the two teams meet in North London.

He said on BBC Sport: “I’ve got to go with Spurs at home. I will go for 3-1.”

In fairness, this is hardly a bold prediction. You have to go back to 1997 when Forest last won at Tottenham, with Dean Saunders scoring the winner that day.

The Reds could be level on points with Luton by the time they kick off on Sunday. The Hatters face Bournemouth on Saturday looking to boost their own survival chances.

Forest must keep the handbrake off against Tottenham

Make no bones about it, this will be a very stern test for Forest; with Tottenham in pursuit of a Champions League place this season.

A certain Brennan Johnson will be gunning for Forest this weekend. Hopefully, the Reds can stifle the threat that he possesses.

Littler is backing 3-1 and it wouldn’t be completely surprising to see Forest get put the sword against Tottenham this weekend.

However, the team put in a strong performance against Fulham. As a result, the confidence will be high and hopefully, Forest can do themselves justice in the capital.

As good as Tottenham are, Ange Postecoglou’s team play with a high line and the pace of the Forest attack could have some joy this weekend.
