Manchester United talent posts brutal two-word message after Under-18's 9-1 win v Liverpool

Manchester United take on Liverpool in the Premier League this afternoon and fans will be hoping to see a leaf taken out of the Under-18’s book.

All eyes will be on Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon with Liverpool making the trip to Manchester.

United really need to come up with a response having lost in frankly ridiculous fashion against Chelsea on Thursday night.

Liverpool are going for the Premier League title and United would no doubt love to throw a spanner in the works.

United will need to channel the euphoria from just three weeks ago, when Ten Hag saw his side produce a rousing fightback to beat the Reds in the FA Cup.

Players shouldn’t need any extra motivation or inspiration for a game of this magnitude but United’s senior stars could look to the Under-18’s for a

Manchester United Under-18’s run riot against Liverpool

United’s Under-18’s made the trip to Merseyside on Saturday with the Under-18 Premier League campaign coming towards its end.

This was a simply stunning performance from United, who were 4-0 up inside 25 minutes as James Scanlon and Ethan Williams scored either side of an Ethan Wheatley brace.

Liverpool pulled one back United added five more goals in the second half with Wheatley completing his hat-trick.

Scanlon added his second before Gabriel Biancheri scored a brace and Ashton Missin rounded off a quite remarkable 9-1 victory.

United sit top of the Under-18 Premier League North section, 13 points clear with a goal difference of +47.

One defeat all season leaves United well clear of the competition and whilst a repeat performance in the senior game is unlikely, it’s clear that United’s kids had humiliation on their minds.

United talents react

That mentality has become clear even in United’s youngsters, especially after seeing Jaydan Kamason’s Instagram message.

17-year-old defender Kamason took to Instagram to post a photo from the game alongside just two words – ‘no mercy’.

United could have taken the foot off the gas when five or six goals up but Kamason and co wanted to absolutely destroy Liverpool.

Finley McAllister joined in, posting ‘always nice to beat them lot’ on Instagram with the Salford-born midfielder embracing the rivalry.

United fans will love seeing this kind of ruthless mentality, especially from a number of teenagers just making their way in the game.

Let’s just hope that United’s first team can embrace a similar mantra this afternoon and make this a double success over Liverpool this weekend.
