Arsenal now told why they can win the Premier League title, and Alan Shearer agrees

Pundits Alan Shearer and Robbie Earle have suggested that Arsenal can win the Premier League title after last night’s 3-0 win against Brighton & Hove Albion.

The north London side maintained their incredible unbeaten run in the Premier League with a comfortable win against a club Arsenal have historically struggled against.

Brighton’s home record this season, as well, made for tough reading for Arsenal going into the game, yet the Gunners dismantled the Seagulls with ease at the Amex Stadium.

And speaking on NBC Sports, pundits Earle and Shearer agreed that Arsenal could now have what it takes to win the Premier League title, with the Gunners not slowing down just yet.

Shearer said about Arsenal’s form at title chances: “Neat at the back, classy in midfield, deadly up-front, it was near perfection. There’s a story there for all of them. For Arsenal, 20 years on, what happened last year.”

Earle later added: “I look at Arsenal. This time last year, Arsenal almost feared the enormity of winning the title. This season, it looks to me they’re enjoying it.

“You’re head tells you that Man City or Liverpool will win because of experience, but your eyes don’t lie, and Alan’s right, defence, midfield and going forward, your eyes can tell you that Arsenal can win it this time around”

Having come so close last season, Arsenal will be desperate to right their wrongs this season with a Premier League title, a prospect that now looks likely.

The north London side have the best defence and attack in the league this year, and confidence has never been higher in the Arsenal squad in getting big results against good teams.

With a full squad as well with zero injuries, Arsenal have all the tools needed to go the distance in the final month of the season, which promises to be an exciting one.
