It’s mathematically impossible for South Carolina and their star, Kamilla Cardoso, to be any better than they were in the 2023-2024 women’s basketball season. The Gamecocks completed their quest for perfection on Sunday, defeating sharpshooter Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes in the women’s basketball National Championship. South Carolina won 87-75, capping off an undefeated season in which they finished with a 38-0 overall record. Following the massive win, Cardoso climbed the ladder and cut down the nets to celebrate their impressive accomplishment.

Fittingly enough, Cardoso brought home MVP honors on Sunday night, after she stuffed the stat sheet with 15 points, 17 rebounds, and two assists.
