West Ham attacker reportedly could join Premier League club, but it's actually great news

It seems as though West Ham could be set to lose one of our attackers to a Premier League club in the summer window.

West Ham face a huge summer transfer window ahead, with Hammers boss David Moyes in need of numerous new signings.

The Scot is set to lose a whole host players this summer, with as many as 12 being linked with the London Stadium exit door.

Getting rid of some of the deadwood will be just as important as bringing in some top-class players before the start of next season.

The likes of Danny Ings, Aaron Cresswell and Maxwel Cornet all need to be moved on as do many others.

There are also some players who will be out of contract this summer, so a big player turnaround is expected at the London Stadium…

West Ham could lose attacker in the summer transfer window

Moyes already got rid of two forwards in January, in the form of Pablo Fornals and Said Benrahma.

And now the Scot could be set to let another one go. However, this time it will be a very good move from Moyes…

According to well-renowned football journalist Alan Nixon, West Ham are trying to get Divin Mubama tied down to a new deal, but then loan him out for the season with current Premier League club Sheffield United.

I have to say, I believe this will be the best thing for Mubama’s development. The 19-year-old striker cannot waste another year sitting on the Hammers bench.

Doing that has already been detrimental to his development, and now is the time for the teenager to play regular first-team football against experienced pros.

The question is whether Sheffield United are the right club for Mubama to join this summer. We have been terrible at loaning players out in the past – sending Callum Marshall to West Brom was a prime example of that.

At the end of the day, the young striker just needs regular minutes, and if the Blades are prepared to provide the West Ham youngster with exactly that, a move to Bramall Lane in the summer transfer window may well be ideal for him.
