Gabby Agbonlahor says Arsenal won't win the Premier League title due to one reason

Gabriel Agbonlahor has revealed the one reason he believes Arsenal won’t win the Premier League title this season.

The Gunners sit top of the standings after their 3-0 win against Brighton & Hove Albion coupled with Liverpool’s draw against Manchester United took Arsenal back into first place.

With seven games of the season left to play, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City all have strong claims each as to why they could win the Premier League this year.

Yet speaking on TalkSport, pundit Agbonlahor claimed that Arsenal will miss out on the title due to the difficulty of their remaining Premier League games compared to City and Liverpool.

The Gunners face Aston Villa this weekend with tough away trips to Wolves, Tottenham and United still to come in the Premier League run-in.

Whilst City and Liverpool also have big games, Arsenal’s run-in is arguably the hardest, even with Mikel Arteta’s side the most in-form side in the Premier League with the most goals and fewest conceded.

Agbonlahor said: “I don’t think they win it. You look at Manchester City’s fixtures, and I can’t see them dropping points. Tottenham away is tricky, but they could find a way against them.”

Arsenal have seemingly spent all of 2024 doing all that is humanely possible trying to prove pundits and critics wrong about what they can achieve this season.

The Gunners have been the best team in the league this season with Arsenal still boasting the best attack and defensive record in the entire division.

And in the final seven games of the season, Arsenal will need to keep proving doubters wrong if they’re to win the Premier League, a prospect that many fans are now starting to believe.
