Journalist says 25-year-old Chelsea transfer target just did something that was ‘superhuman’

Journalist Paolo Esposito has come out in full praise of one player who Chelsea are reportedly looking to sign this summer.

In comments via Area Napoli, he believes that the individual linked with them just did something in his last game that no other player could do.

A striker is reportedly high on the shortlist as far as Chelsea are concerned, with a natural finisher still missing from their squad.

While player sales will likely be necessary before doing so, it has been claimed that a number of their targets are on the more expensive side of things.

Chelsea interested in Osimhen

One of those is Victor Osimhen, who the club have reportedly been interested in for more than a year now.

Goals have not been quite as free flowing this season in comparison to last, however he found the net at the weekend against Monza.

His header was absolutely superb, and caught the attention of Esposito, who believes the finish was out of this world.

Osimhen goal described as ‘superhuman’

He said: “He really flew into the sky yesterday at Monza. He is a very strong centre-forward, perhaps the best in the world, also for [his] athleticism. Something superhuman, which nobody on the planet possesses. I wish he would stay at Napoli until the end of his career.”

It looks extremely likely that he will be on the move at the end of the campaign, whether that is to Chelsea or elsewhere.

He has also been strongly linked with a move to PSG, who are in the market for a replacement for Kylian Mbappe.

Chelsea are intrigued by a number of strikers still, with another top target being Viktor Gyokeres.

The Sporting Lisbon man sits on more than 50 combined goals and assists this season already, and is proving that he can be a real asset if any side makes a move for him this summer.
