It’s hard to remember a time when the Arsenal squad was so injury-free, especially at this point of the season.

And given Bayern Munich are the club standing between the Gunners and a potential Champions League semi-final, they will need every single player to contribute.

Of course, only eleven can start tonight, and it seems as if Arteta’s biggest decisions come on the left side of the pitch.

Does Jakub Kiwior return at left-back? Or is Takehiro Tomiyasu the right man to deal with Leroy Sane’s pace?

And there’s similar uncertainty at left-wing too, with all of Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard vying for just one starting spot – three players who could feasibly start in the same XI earlier in the season.

Arsenal youngster Chido Obi-Martin spotted in first team training ahead of Bayern Munich

Of course, with so many players available it is a surprise that Arsenal decided to include any youngsters in their final training sessions before this monumental Bayern tie.

But such has been his progress with Jack Wilshere’s youth team this season, 16-year-old Chido Obi-Martin was spotted chasing Declan Rice in training yesterday.

Arsenal shared their pictures following the session, and the 13-goal striker was also joined by youngster Will Sweet.

Of course, Obi-Martin has been making quite a name for himself in youth football this season.

As well as scoring 14 goals in just 10 games for Denmark under-17s, Obi-Martin also has 13 goals in 12 under-18s Premier League games.

Clearly a player with so much potential, and these kind of experiences with the first team will be invaluable.

It’s quite the step up for the youngster, who will join Mehmet Ali’s under-21s next season, alongside the likes of Ethan Nwaneri.

And it will be extremely pleasing from an Arsenal fan perspective that the Hale End academy is still helping so many rich talents to this stage.

All that being said, Eric Dier has been complimenting one Arsenal forward before tonight’s big meeting.
