They have an unbelievable defence, an incredible midfield and a very, very good attack even though many criticised them for not signing a new striker in the last two windows.
Mikel Arteta’s side are on top of the Premier League table right now and are going into the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals as the favourites against Bayern Munich.
That shows you how far they have come, and one of the biggest reasons why they are where they are at the moment is their summer signing, David Raya.
The Spaniard joined Arsenal from Brentford on a season-long loan deal for an initial fee of £3 million with an obligation to make the move permanent for a further £27 million this summer (ESPN).
A lot of eyebrows were raised when Arteta signed Raya and then made him the number one ahead of Aaron Ramsdale. That led to a ton of criticism as well.
However, the Arsenal boss, as he almost always is, has been proven right, and Gabriel Jesus seems to be a big fan of the Spanish goalkeeper.
He said, as relayed on HaytersTV: “He’s so good keeper, you know? And a good person as well.
“Before I only knew him when I played against him. Then, when he joined the club, we could see he’s a very good guy and an amazing keeper like Aaron.
“We have two, I think, very good keepers. Yeah, he’s helping a lot.”

Arsenal have the best defence in the Premier League this season.
William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes have been earning a ton of plaudits for their performances recently, and rightly so, but David Raya has significantly contributed as well.
Since making his debut in the Premier League, Raya has kept 12 clean sheets in 25 games – more than any other player in the entire division.
What makes that stat even more impressive is the fact that the Spaniard didn’t play in the first four games of the campaign and also missed the two fixtures against Brentford as he was ineligible.
Yet, he has the Golden Glove award all but wrapped up, which is just remarkable.
