Each generator has a capacity of 1 MW and can power a “medium-sized hospital in an emergency”.
Austria, Germany, Sweden, and the Netherlands have also offered to provide Ukraine with 157 power generators of various capacities.
According to Der Standard, the EU Crisis Management Commissioner Janez Lenarcic is in close contact with Ukrainian authorities on the ground to provide further assistance if needed.
