TV star tragically dies after vanishing for several days - 'He's no longer with us'

The actor known for his role in 1923, was tragically found dead on Friday, April 5, after going missing days prior. Cole Brings Plenty’s death has led to an outpouring of tributes from fans.

The TV star, 27, was last seen in the early hours of March 31. After being missing for days, his body was sadly found in a wooded area about 43 miles southwest of Kansas City, Kansas.

1923 actor tragically found dead at 27

The star’s body was found and identified on Friday, the Johnson County, Kansas, Sheriff’s Office confirmed, after being dispatched to the area in reference to an unoccupied vehicle. They found a “deceased male in a wooded area away from the vehicle.”

“I am deeply saddened to confirm that my son, Cole, has been found and is no longer with us,” Yellowstone’s Moses Brings Plenty wrote on his Instagram, (Cole’s uncle) sharing a statement from the actor’s father.

“We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone for the prayers and positive thoughts you sent for Cole. We would also like to thank everyone who came to walk beside us as we searched for my son and provided the resources we needed to expand our search areas,” the statement continued.

“I learned this week how many people knew the goodness in Cole’s heart and loved him.”

The family then concluded by asking for privacy during the ‘incredibly difficult time’.

Brings Plenty’s death came days before police said they had “probable cause for his arrest” after an alleged domestic violence incident.

As well as appearing in two episodes of Yellowstone prequel 1923, the actor also appeared in the Western series Into the Wild Frontier and The Tall Tales of Jim Bridger.

Tributes pour in Cole Brings Plenty after his death

As Cole’s family shared the news, tributes came pouring in for the star on social media.

“All my Love and prayers to the family. Cole was a diamond in the rough. I loved him. May his journey to the other world be a good one. We will visit with him later on.. much love brother Moses,” wrote artist Mark Maggiori.

“I am so sorry to hear the tragic news, Mo. My love to you and all your family and friends,” wrote fellow 1923 star, Sebastian Roche.

“Truly the best & beautiful souls I’ve ever met. He comes from an amazing family. He was loving, passionate, funny, and loyal to his family traditions. Truly a one of a kind soul,” a third wrote.
