Billie Eilish doesn’t hold back with harsh words after album leak

Billie Eilish has been left ‘fuming’ over a leak when the tracklist for her third album Hit Me Hard And Soft was featured in Rolling Stone.

The music star has provided the promo of the century for her forthcoming album, adding all her followers to her Close Friends list on Instagram, and popping her lyrics on billboards around the globe. However, it looks like Billie Eilish wasn’t ready for the tracklist to be released, and didn’t hold back on her words after it was done for her.

Billie Eilish ‘slams’ album leak by Rolling Stone

The Grammy winner excitedly announced her forthcoming album on Monday, which she’ll be releasing on May 17.

However, she won’t be releasing any singles, telling fans she wanted to give the music to them all at once, which was leaked in a Rolling Stone article, and the singer didn’t take it lightly.

Taking to her Instagram story, in posts that have now been deleted, the singer wrote: “F*** Rolling Stone,” on a black background. However, it looks like that wasn’t enough, as in a second story, she tagged the publication, to make sure they saw it. “F*** you guys @rollingstone,” she wrote alongside a clown emoji.

The cover of her first album in three years, shows Eilish sinking beneath a white wooden door in all black, which she posted, alongside the caption: “So crazy to be writing this right now I’m nervyyyyy & exciteddd.

“Finneas and I truly could not be more proud of this album, and we absolutely can’t wait for you to hear it. love you love you love you.”

Fans and celebrity friends are just as excited as the Bad Guy singer is, as they took to the comments to scream and shout about the upcoming release.

“You have no idea how excited I am for this!” exclaimed Queer Eye star Tan France.

“You don’t understand how much I needed this,” penned one fan.

A third exclaimed: “OMMGGGG SO HAPPY AND EXCITED!!”

The star’s stomach tattoo makes sense now

In December, we saw a glimpse of the singer’s new hip/stomach tattoo, at the Variety Hitmakers event. Recently, she gave her ‘close friends’ a closer insight into the ink which reads: “Hard & Soft.”

Now we know the name of her new album, it looks like the two are related, Hit Me Hard And Soft.

If the tat, the marketing strategy, and the album cover are anything to go by, we know this is going to be one heck of a masterpiece.

See you on May 17!
