Report: Chelsea have already decided they are going to loan out ‘incredible’ player to Strasbourg

Reports have now claimed that Chelsea have already made the decision to loan one of their players to Strasbourg.

According to El Canal del Futbol, the Blues want the highly talented youngster to get experience at the top level before joining up with the first team squad at Stamford Bridge.

One thing that has been clear since Todd Boehly and co took over at Chelsea that they have been keen to sign a number of young players before other big clubs got their hands on them.

While there is plenty of promise around the likes of Andrey Santos and Deivid Washington over their futures at the club, there is one player who exceeds them all when it comes to potential at this stage.

Kendry Paez already a star

Kendry Paez is already a regular for the Ecuador national team now at the age of just 16, featuring alongside club-record addition Moises Caicedo.

He has already proven to be an extremely impressive member of the squad, breaking records set by the likes of Pele along the way.

His talents at such a young age have seen him handed plenty of praise, with Caicedo describing him as ‘incredible’.

Paez has trained with the first team on a number of occasions already, even though he is not able to join up with the Blues until 2025.

Paez set for loan move

It was not known up to now whether he would be joining up at Stamford Bridge straight away, or if a loan move was the best way to develop him.

It now looks as if the latter is the option they are going to take, with a familiar home in mind in terms of Strasbourg.

The French club are under the same ownership as the Blues, and have benefitted from having some of their youngsters available for this season.

Santos has finally managed to get some football under his belt there, and is beginning to show what all the hype over a year ago was for.
