Harry Kane reveals how he truly feels about leaving Tottenham for Bayern with league title dream in tatters

Tottenham Hotspur legend Harry Kane has revealed how he feels now almost a year on from leaving for Bayern Munich.

It was a solid evening’s work at the Emirates Stadium for Harry Kane who was able to get his name on the scoresheet as Bayern take a draw into the second leg.

Scoring goals against Arsenal is just what Kane does as he added his 15th against the Gunners which saw Spurs fans share their delight on social media.

Daniel Levy sanctioned the sale of the £100m striker back in August last year and Spurs have fared well without him.

Of course, Tottenham fans would have loved to see Kane play in this Ange Postecoglou side but Heung-min Son has been able to cover a lot of the goals missed in Kane’s absence.

And the England captain has now issued his thoughts on his move away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as Bayern’s Bundesliga dreams have been left in tatters.

Kane admits whether he has any regrets in leaving Tottenham for Bayern

Since Kane left Spurs, the Lilywhites have been on an upwards trajectory under Postecoglou after a dismal 2022/23 campaign under Antonio Conte.

Going into the game on the weekend, Tottenham will have the opportunity to open up a three-point cushion in fourth spot on Aston Villa.

Albeit provisionally, a win for Spurs against Newcastle United would also close the gap on the league leaders to eight points.

In comparison, it has been a season to forget for Bayern who now find themselves on the brink of handing over their Bundesliga crown to Bayer Leverkusen.

But that is not to say Kane hasn’t impressed since making he move to Munich with 39 goals in his 38 appearances so far.

Speaking to TNT Sports after the game, Kane admitted he was still pleased with the Bayern experience so far.

“It’s been an amazing experience. Of course in the league it hasn’t gone the way I or the club have wanted it to go. But for me personally it has been an amazing experience,” Kane said.

“To see a different culture and league has been a great step in my career. The league has gone this year but I’m at Munich for a long time and I know we are trying to come back stronger in that competition.”

Tottenham are spreading the goals without Kane in the side

Last season, the England captain was in stunning form for Spurs having netted 30 goals in the Premier League alone.

Spurs did not bring in a big-name striker over the summer and have opted to put their trust in Richarlison who scored just once in the league last season.

However, Spurs have been able to spread the goals fairly well across their front line this season to provide a more collective return of goals.

Here is a run down of Tottenham’s top scorers this season.

Although Tottenham have looked impressive in attack under Postecoglou, it is now claimed the Lilywhites are eyeing a £43m forward ahead of the summer.
