‘I’ve changed my mind’: Ally McCoist has now predicted who will win the Premier League

Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City are embroiled in what could be the most dramatic title race in Premier League history.

Jurgen Klopp, Mikel Arteta and Pep Guardiola are all battling to be crowned as champions.

For the first time in a long time we have three clubs gunning to win the league with just seven games to go, and there are strong cases to make for every side in this race.

Arsenal are currently top of the league, Manchester City have been here and done it before, while Liverpool are spurred on by the emotion of this being Jurgen Klopp’s final season.

So, who will win the league? Well, that’s tough to predict, but speaking to TNT Sports (13/4/24 11:05AM), Ally McCoist has put his neck on the line and made a call.

Ally McCoist’s Premier League prediction

The pundit gave his verdict on how this race will go.

“I’m getting my cards on the table immediately, I’ve changed my mind three times in the past week. I went for Man City at the start of the season. Liverpool dropped points and Arsenal might be slight favourites, but I picked Man City at the start of the season, so I’m going to stick by them just for that reason. I think all three teams will win this week,” McCoist said.

Manchester City are undeniable

As much as we’d love to make a case for there being a different name on the trophy this season, it’s so hard to look past Manchester City in this race.

City have won three titles in a row for a reason, they’re ice cold in these closing moments of the season, and it wouldn’t surprise us at all if they didn’t drop a single point between now and the end of the campaign.

City could well become the first team in English football history to win four consecutive titles.
