'Really talented': Fabrizio Romano says Arsenal think 24-year-old striker would really suit their style

Arsenal are in the market for a new striker this summer.

The Gunners have been linked with so many new centre-forwards heading into the summer, and one man who has reportedly come onto their radar as of late is Alexander Isak.

The Newcastle star could be on the market this summer as the Magpies look to balance their books, and Arsenal are said to be keen.

Writing for The Daily Briefing, Fabrizio Romano has shared what he knows about Arsenal’s interest in Isak, and he says that scouts at the north London club consider Isak to be a really talented striker who would be a good fit for their style.

Arsenal think Alexander Isak would be a good fit

Romano shared how Arsenal view Isak.

“Alexander Isak is another Newcastle player attracting interest, and Arsenal have always appreciated him, even when he was at Real Sociedad. They’ve been scouting him for a while and he’s considered a really talented striker, and with the style they have I think he’s appreciated as a good fit for that style,” Romano wrote.

Alexander Isak is a star

We’re not at all surprised to hear this.

Indeed, it doesn’t take a tactical genius to note that Isak is a top player who would be a great fit for any club.

The Swedish striker has it all, he’s big, he’s strong, he’s clinical and he’s very smart.

Arsenal won’t be the only team who have their eye on Isak, and while Newcastle may be under a bit of pressure to balance their books, they surely won’t want to sell Isak under any circumstances.

Isak may well be Newcastle’s best player, and if Arsenal can sign him, they will almost certainly go to the next level.

This would be one of the signings of the summer if Arsenal could find a way to pull this off.
