Most people inside The Emirates were unhappy Arsenal fans today but there was one man, Emiliano Martinez, who was delighted with the result.
Aston Villa strode into north London with a solid game-plan and it worked to perfection, as Unai Emery got one over on his former team.
Goals from Leon Bailey and then Ollie Watkins ensured Villa put a massive dent in Arsenal’s title bid on the same day that Liverpool threw it away against Crystal Palace.
For Arsenal, it was a dismal day at the office and one they’ll want to quickly forget.
For Villa, of course, it was a memorable outing and one which they will enjoy thoroughly as they head back up the M1 tonight with a big three points.
Of course, Villa goalkeeper Martinez is a former Arsenal player and he never quite got his chance to make it at The Emirates.
And it seems that Martinez was keen to ensure he enjoyed the win.

Martinez has gone on to have quite the career since he left Arsenal.
A World Cup winner and widely regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the league, Martinez is quite the character as well.
And rather than shy away from celebrating against a former team today, Martinez did quite the opposite.
In a video shared by BEIN Sports, Martinez can be seen celebrating wildly with the Villa fans and milking it for it’s worth at his old stomping ground.
Arsenal must regret losing Martinez
While the Gunners have two excellent goalkeepers in David Raya and Aaron Ramsdale, there must be someone at the club who feels they got this one wrong.
Martinez has gone on to become one of the best in the world since he left and when you look, he’d have saved the Gunners a fortune in the market really.
To see him winning today and getting his moment back at The Emirates was a nice touch.
And for once, it was nice to see a former player celebrate with his current ream and fans and not worry about those that came before him.
Martinez was superb as always and Villa very much deserved the win.
