The star, who was wearing brown trousers, a light pink shirt over a white T-shirt and a grey blazer covered in pin badges, also stopped to talk to a female co-star.

Also appearing in the series is American actress Quintessa Swindell, as well as more established names such as Stephen Rea, Martha Plimpton and David Morrissey.

Apple TV+ says Woodall’s character Edward hopes to crack the code that will allow him to access every computer in the world.

Its synopsis explains: “Soon he begins to realise an unseen enemy is trying to destroy his idea before it’s even born, which throws him into the orbit of Taylah Sanders, a female NSA agent, played by Swindell, who’s been tasked with watching and reporting on mathematicians’ behaviour.”
