West Ham United star-boy Mohammed Kudus has admitted that he was genuinely awestruck by Liverpool midfielder Thiago Alcantara.
Liverpool ace Thiago Alcantara is an incredibly easy-on-the-eye player, and West Ham star Mohammed Kudus has explained exactly why he rates him so highly.
The 33-year-old Reds star has barely played this season due to injury, whilst the Ghana international has been in scintillating form for the Hammers.
Kudus is our gem, and he could get even better if David Moyes plays him in the number 10 role – a position the player himself has admitted is his best.
The former Ajax man seems to be perfectly suited to the Premier League. He ripped it up in Holland with Ajax and he’s doing the same in England now with West Ham.
Kudus hasn’t actually faced Thiago since he joined the Hammers. However, he has faced him before in the Champions League during his time with Ajax.

The Hammers ace is clearly a massive fan of Liverpool’s Spanish midfielder.
He came face-to-face with the former Bayern Munich and Barcelona man at Anfield in the Champions League 18 months ago.
And Kudus absolutely raved about Thiago, naming him as the best player he’s ever played against, when speaking to Sky Sports:
“Thiago. In the Champions League when we played in the Champions League against him. I wasn’t surprised about what I saw. He was too smooth man. You can never get close to him. He dictated the whole game at Anfield.”
As mentioned earlier, Thiago has missed the majority of this season through injury.
However, we are all aware of his outstanding quality. He really is such an incredibly silky midfielder.
