'They are angry': Jurgen Klinsmann predicts who's going to win tonight - Arsenal or Bayern Munich

Arsenal take on Bayern Munich in the Champions League tonight, and Jurgen Klinsmann has predicted the result of the game.

Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund booked their place in the semi-final of the Champions League last night after wins over Barcelona and Atletico Madrid respectively.

Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Manchester City battle it out tonight in what will surely be a spectacular night of football.

In the first leg at the Emirates last week, Arsenal and Bayern Munich had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The tie hangs in the balance now, and both teams will go all out to get the job done.

Germany legend Klinsmann has now predicted who he thinks will win the game tonight.

Jurgen Klinsmann predicts Bayern Munich vs Arsenal result

Bayern Munich’s Allianz Arena has not been a happy destination for Arsenal, has it?

The Gunners suffered back-to-back 5-1 defeats there in their last two visits, and Mikel Arteta would’ve surely reminded his squad just how difficult a game tonight will be.

However, the one advantage for Arsenal is that Bayern Munich aren’t the same side they were all those years ago. They’ve had a poor season and are very much beatable.

Arsenal came close to picking up the win in the first leg, and they are more than capable of securing a result away from home tonight as well.

However, Jurgen Klinsmann, who used to play for Arsenal’s fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur, has backed Bayern to beat the Gunners and go through to the semi-finals of the Champions League tonight.

Here’s what he said on ESPN FC: “They (Bayern) kind of have the momentum. Obviously, Arsenal have played a brilliant season as well and have every quality out there to harm you, to make it really, really difficult for you.

“But, I think, in this specific moment in time right now, that is Bayern finding itself losing the German Bundesliga for the first time since 11 years to Bayer Leverkusen last weekend, they are angry and they are hungry now for the Champions League.

“They made a fool out of themselves in the German Cup losing against a third-division team. So, they are now ready, they’re ready for this clash with Arsenal. They’re not underestimating Arsenal at all, they have a lot of respect for Arsenal coming to Munich, but it will be a packed 70,000, it will be a fantastic atmosphere there.

“I think they’re just, at this moment in time, so motivated, so full of energy that they have to prove a point. They have to prove a point to their millions of fans in Germany and all over the world that they are a very, very good team and that they don’t want to waste the entire season.”

Klinsmann’s prediction: Bayern Munich 3-1 Arsenal

Predicted Arsenal XI vs Bayern Munich

Arsenal were dealt a huge blow to their Premier League title hopes on Sunday when they lost 2-0 to Aston Villa at the Emirates.

That’s as good a wake-up call as they could get ahead of the game against Bayern Munich, and Mikel Arteta would’ve known who to take out of his side.

Oleksandr Zinchenko came under a lot of criticism for his performance at the weekend, as did Gabriel Jesus, who started up front.

We expect both of them to drop down to the bench at the Allianz Arena tonight.

Predicted Arsenal XI vs Bayern Munich: Raya, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Tomiyasu, Rice, Jorginho, Odegaard, Saka, Havertz, Martinelli.
