'The most difficult team': TalkSPORT pundit now makes Manchester City vs Chelsea prediction ahead of Saturday

Chelsea take on Manchester City in the FA Cup on Saturday for a place in the final.

Mauricio Pochettino‘s men should go into the game with a lot of momentum after thrashing Everton 6-0 on Monday.

Cole Palmer will be looking to punish his former club, especially with the attacker in great form at the minute.

He scored four of his side’s goals in that impressive victory over Sean Dyche’s men.

His team-mate Malo Gusto has been discussing who he would rather play alongside out of the 21-year-old and Erling Haaland.

Simon Jordan predicts Manchester City vs Chelsea outcome

Chelsea have been pretty good in front of goal lately, but City remain the best team in the country and arguably in the world.

Beating them to book a ticket to the final will not be easy.

Simon Jordan has been discussing their chances of doing so on talkSPORT and how their season will be perceived if they finish inside the top six.

“Sometimes you can’t bounce until you hit the bottom, and maybe Chelsea have hit the bottom and they’re starting to bounce now,” the former Crystal Palace owner said. “I don’t know, but they’ll have been to a cup final, they’re in a cup semi-final. They’ve got the most difficult team to play in that cup semi-final, so I would expect them to be ejected from the FA Cup.

“But if they do finish inside the top six, whilst it won’t be a brilliant season, given where they’ve been during the course of it, it will be written up in a different way than the writing has been previously.”

Manchester City vs Chelsea score prediction

City will play a tough game against Real Madrid in the Champions League tonight.

Chelsea supporters will be hoping that that tires them ahead of Saturday’s match at Wembley.

In the two league games against each other this season, both ended in draws, a 4-4 at Stamford Bridge and 1-1 at the Etihad.

As good as City are, it is not impossible, then, that Chelsea hurt them on Saturday and come out as victors. We will go 2-1 Chelsea after that promising win against Everton last time out.
