March Town Reserves are back in the Senior B promotion spots after a win and a defeat last week. They were beaten 1-0 at home by Great Shelford Reserves on Tuesday but bounced back to win 4-1 at home to St Ives Town Reserves on Saturday.

Harry Powley smashed in the first before Liam Monaghan got on the end of a corner to hook the ball home from six yards to make it 2-0. A Josh Bryant header made it three before the break. St Ives got one back from a penalty but a cool finish from Seb Goldspink sealed the victory.

Goals from Fred Fisher, Micah Baxter and Chev Dixon were not enough as bottom-of-the-table March Town A lost 6-3 at Exning United in 1B after losing 4-1 at home to Great Paxton in midweek, Kieran Venni netting. Chatteris Town Reserves were beaten 6-0 at Hartford Rangers, four days after a 2-1 home loss to Needingworth United, sub Joe Stead scoring but Harley Edwards sent off.

Outwell Swifts are homing in on a third successive promotion and a league and North Cambs Junior Cup double. After securing the Cup earlier in the month, a 2-0 win over Wisbech St Mary Reserves moved them up to third place in 2B, still with games in hand over the top two.
