Report: Juventus want to sign 'really dangerous' £45m Arsenal player this summer

Italian side Juventus are now said to be lining up a summer move for a player who has been crucial for Arsenal and Mikel Arteta in recent seasons.

Despite all they have and still can achieve this season, Mikel Arteta and Edu Gaspar are expected to oversee a summer of change.

Arsenal have several players on the periphery of things, players too good not to be playing, and also those who they’ll want to bring in.

Arteta’s squad isn’t necessarily too bloated right now, but there’s hardly space for new faces unless players depart.

That being said, it now wouldn’t be too much of a surprise if Arsenal parted ways with the likes of Eddie Nketiah, Aaron Ramsdale and Emile Smith Rowe this summer.

Not because they are poor players by any means, they’re three names loved around north London, but they need to play football.

None of that trio are progressing or enjoying anything close to the starts they deserve right now.

That being said, Italian outlet Tutto Juve have just reported Juventus’ interest in a different player entirely.

Juventus want to sign Gabriel Jesus this summer, they think Arsenal want to sell

Tutto Juve are reporting that Juventus are now considering a move for Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus this summer.

The report states that Arsenal are considering selling the Brazilian because his performances have been so ‘inconsistent’ this season.

Remarkably, the outlet thinks that Arsenal would even consider loaning out Jesus such has been his struggles.

And whilst Juventus’ interest in Jesus may be true, there really doesn’t seem any chance that Arsenal would be pushing for a departure on a permanent basis yet alone for a loan deal.

Jesus remains one of the most experienced members of the squad, he’s part of Arteta’s leadership team.

And although the ‘really dangerous£45m-striker hasn’t quite done enough in front of goal this season, either side of his injuries, he’s still integral to the club’s project.

Even if a new striker arrived in the summer, Jesus is likely to still be a regular starter on the wing, as well as rotating in and out centrally.

If Juventus were to approach Arsenal for Jesus in the summer it would surely take a big offer, much more than the club paid to secure his services.

All that being said, one player who left Arsenal for £2m last summer has just scored a 10-minute hat-trick for his new club.
