Inter Miami sporting director Chris Henderson has detailed what fans can expect from new signing Matias Rojas.
The 28-year-old Paraguayan international finally completed his long-awaited move to the Florida franchise this week, with Inter Miami linked with Rojas for the best part of a month before the signing was made official on Tuesday.
A regular in South America’s biggest and best divisions, Rojas could be one of Inter Miami’s most exciting signings in 2024 having already added Luis Suarez and Julian Gressel to their ranks earlier this year.

Speaking to Inter Miami’s official website, Henderson was full of praise for getting a deal to sign Rojas over the line and agreed, with the versatile attacking midfielder potentially in line for his debut this weekend.
Able to play centrally and on both wings, Rojas offers Tata Martino’s side an outstanding outlet in almost any attacking position, with the former Corinthians star also capable of operating in midfield if needed for the Herons.
Henderson said when asked about the signing of Rojas and what the Paraguayan can bring to the squad: “We’re pleased to bring in attacking midfielder Matias Rojas.
“He is a skillful and experienced player at both the club and national team levels whose versatility we believe will be an asset for the team. We think this addition helps strengthen our squad as we aim to compete for titles after a strong start of the MLS season.”
