Crystal Palace may have just been offered the chance to sign one impressive player for free this summer according to reports.
Oliver Glasner has already revolutionised this Crystal Palace squad as we’ve seen over the past few weeks.
However he won’t be content with this, and will instead be keen to use this platform he’s built, to launch his side to unprecedented heights.
So with that thinking, this summer will be huge and should say a lot about whether the club are matching Glasner’s ambitions.
But if one rumoured target is to be believed, Dougie Freedman could hand Glasner his very own N’Golo Kante – as Adrian Clarke described him – for £0.
Crystal Palace offered the chance to sign Wilfred Ndidi for free
We’re now only four games away from the season-ending and transfer season is about the explode.
One name which has crept up over the past few weeks is Wilfred Ndidi who will be available for free this summer for whoever signs him.
Now, journalist Edmund Brack has reported a development.
He tweeted on Friday, claiming that Palace have now been offered the chance to sign Ndidi this summer on a free transfer.
There is thought to be interest from the Eagles, which points toward this being a deal which can be done. But should it?

Should Ndidi be signed this summer?
Signing another midfielder this summer doesn’t seem like a priority for Palace, but as he’ll be free, it may be too good an opportunity to strengthen the department, even if he isn’t starting.
The current options show that there is room for Ndidi too.
From this, we could expect that Palace would have Wharton in midfield, with one of Lerma, Doucoure or Ndidi next to him.
A really strong group of options for Palace, one which should allow Glasner to play the footballing brand he wants.
Definitely a signing worth making.
