Gabriel Agbonlahor has predicted who will win when Nottingham Forest meet Manchester City at the City Ground today.
The Reds desperately need some more points on the board – although Luton’s defeat yesterday does keep them out of the relegation zone.
Forest need to start winning but today does feel like a bit of a thankless task for the Reds.
City are a machine and right now, they’re chasing a sixth Premier League title in the last seven years.
Agbonlahor has now been quizzed on how he sees today’s game going and we’ve taken a look at his comments.
Gabriel Agbonlahor predicts Nottingham Forest vs Manchester City
Well, it’s fair to say that not too many are going to predict a Forest win today – and Agbonlahor has stayed true to form.
The Reds will be massively up against it today, with the juggernaut that is City chasing another league title.
Agbonlahor doesn’t think City will have things all their own way, however, and it predicting a cagey affair.
He said live onTalkSPORT: “I can’t see Man City slipping up. I don’t think this is one of those games where it is a comfortable win. I think it’s a 1-1 and then Man City find a way to get a late goal 2-1. Because Forest know it doesn’t matter now, you have got four games left.
“No matter who you are playing, you need to get points because Luton have got two home games left, you look at Burnley as well, they have got games that they could win. So, big game for Forest, but I think Man City will find a way and I think it will be a tight game.”
Forest in for a tough afternoon against Manchester City
Well, this is going to be a tough one for the Reds and perhaps one eye should be on next weekend’s game over Sheffield United.
The Reds need to make sure they do things properly today and it would be nice if they could come out of today without a proper thrashing.
City are going to be relentless at this stage of the season, especially with Liverpool faltering in the title race.
Pep Guardiola’s team are typically fantastic at this stage of the season and Forest might merely be trying to keep the score down today.
Hopefully, Agbonlahor is right and Forest can at least make a fist of things this afternoon.
