Donald Trump on Wednesday had some very nice words specifically for the conservative members of the Supreme Court, leading some to say the former president is seeking their favor in his case seeking absolute immunity from all charges in the criminal case stemming from the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021.

"I want to thank the Supreme Court justices for having the courage Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, John Roberts, Brett Kavanaugh, Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett… for the wisdom and the courage to do this. This took a great deal of wisdom," Trump said at a rally on Wednesday while talking about the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

@BDeMayo wrote Wednesday, "Lmao all of them being like 'Please don't keep bringing that up.'"

Political and legal commentator Allison Gill, better known as "Mueller, She Wrote," was more direct:

"Kiss as much supreme a-- as you want. They’re not going to give you absolute immunity," she wrote on Wednesday.

User @STFXU also responded to the ex-president's message to the right-wing justices of the Supreme Court: "Courage? Wisdom? Not in that Supreme Court. Both are sadly lacking."

Another user on social media, @Cedarlady, said that Trump was "Trying to suck up to SCOTUS."

@forbestonow also chimed in:

"It's alright, Donald - we all know which justices took away women's right to bodily autonomy in 20+ states. We also know they are going to come for other rights. Like the one to have non criminal presidents."
