Kim Kardashian was booed when she roasted Tom Brady, the man who she was rumored to be dating at one point. He made remarks about her ex, Kanye West, while she compared him to Caitlyn Jenner.
During a roast at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, Kim Kardashian clapped back at Tom Brady’s roast of her. She even dissed comedian Kevin Hart’s height at the event – and the audience was not pleased.
Kim Kardashian booed over roast
Kim Kardashian was booed for her on-stage roast at The Greatest Roast Of All Time: Tom Brady event at the Netflix Is A Joke Festival at Kia Forum on May 5. Some say she was “almost booed off-stage”.
She had a few cheers but was booed when she said, “I know a lot of people make fun of your height,” to which cameras cut to the comedian, Kevin Hart, who responded with, “Woah, woah, woah.”
Kim then ended up telling audience members they can relax with the sneers. “Alright, alright, alright,” she teased, while wearing a black strapless dress with layered diamond-encrusted necklaces.
Tom Brady roasts Kim on Kanye
Tom brought up how he knew Kim was feeling very nervous about attending the roast event. He said, “Thank you so much for being here. I knew Kim was terrified to be here tonight.”
He added, “Not because of this but because her kids are at home with their dad [Kanye West].” Fans feared Ye’s response, with one writing, “Kanye about to go on a all time great anti Tom Brady rant.”
Kim addresses Brady dating rumors
Kim even brought up the Tom Brady dating rumors from last year. “I know there were some rumours that we were, and I’d never say if we did or not,” she said. “I’d just release a tape.”
“But I do know it would never work out,” noting that Brady is a former athlete with strong cheekbones and “silky hair.” “You remind me too much of my stepdad now,” she said of Caitlyn Jenner.
“Oh, part of me thinks you would want to [date] me just to try on my clothes. I know the transition from the NFL must have been really hard. But I think my stepdad is a great example for you,” Kim added.
“She’s one of the best athletes in the world who proved you can do anything in this next chapter of your life. You can become a commentator or a far-right-wing Republican or even a strong confident woman.”
“Honestly, it’s hard for me to watch people roast you. But I think enough of my family members have helped defend former football players,” she joked of her late father, Robert Kardashian.
