Netflix star finally sells ambitious $26M property 'in 11th hour' but 'bent over backwards'

Kayla finally sold the Selling The OC $26M house, known as the Bayside listing! Throughout season 3, she ambitiously attempted to find a promising buyer for the huge property – and secured a deal.

Top Oppenheim Group earner Gio Helou had an opinion about whether Selling The OC co-star Kayla was ready to take on a highly coveted $28 million listing. She’s only gone and proved him utterly wrong!

Kayla’s house on Selling The OC

Kayla was given a huge house on Selling The OC costing $26million. She describes it as a quick close despite facing many challenges to try and find a promising buyer on the Netflix show.

It was the biggest listing she’d ever had, which ended up being closed about a month or two after they wrapped up with filming, so Kayla was not able to capture that blissful moment.

The Newport Beach property was the most expensive in the area, which totally changed her career. Jason Oppenheim awarded the listing to Kayla when the Oppenheim Group acquired it, but Gio found it unfair.

Update on Bayside listing sale

Kayla has officially sold the Bayside listing house on Selling The OC in November 2023. The exterior of the home Kayla Cardona was listed for $28 million and eventually sold for $24.5 million.

With a chunk of change in her pocket, Kayla’s professional prospects have never been brighter. She told Tudum, “I’m still of course doing my real estate, and I’ve been picking up a lot of momentum.

“I’m now a certified life coach. I brought back my podcast. I’ve been speaking on stages. I’m just giving back to the community and it’s been very fulfilling,” Kayla revealed of her current status.

She ‘bent over backwards’ for house

Kayla admits she “bent over backwards” to sell the expensive multi-million dollar property. “It was obviously the biggest listing I’ve had, and there were a lot of ups and downs,” she told Tudum.

“We bent over backwards for a lot of things, but it turned out to be great. We sold it in the 11th hour. It was a quick close for $25 million, so I’m very thankful,” Kayla revealed.
