Four Chelsea players now named in Premier League Team of the Week, one got a 10/10

Chelsea capped off a brilliant seven days with a dominant victory over London rivals West Ham on Sunday.

The 5-0 win helped them into the top seven of the Premier League, where European football is on offer for next season.

However, it has since been claimed that Europa League is actually the target the owners have set Mauricio Pochettino, leaving some results still needing to go there way from now until the end of the season.

They showed they were in the right vein of form to get the job done though, with a number of players individually performing to extremely high levels.

Cole Palmer, Noni Madueke, Thiago Silva and Nicolas Jackson in Team of the Week

This has perhaps been shown by WhoScored’s latest Premier League Team of the Week, where four of the 11 players are taken up by Chelsea players.

Cole Palmer has been no stranger to this honour at this point of his first season at the club, with him racking up 21 league goals so far this season.

He opened the scoring at the weekend, and his brilliant all-round display saw him added to the side.

He was joined in midfield by Noni Madueke, who continued his good form with another goal.

In defence, Thiago Silva has added a level of calmness to the side that they were missing without his presence due to injury, and he helped himself to an assist as well as a clean sheet at Stamford Bridge.

Jackson awarded a 10/10

However, the most impressive display came from Nicolas Jackson, who scored a brace in the second half to make it 13 goals in the league in his first season at the club.

Adding to a first half assist, the 22-year-old picked up a perfect 10/10 rating, being the only player in the league to do so this weekend.

Despite the fact the club are reportedly in for a new striker this summer, many will have seen the improvements of Jackson and wondering if there is actually any need to do so.
