David Moyes's brutal Luton comments ahead of final game in charge at London Stadium

David Moyes has made some brutal comments ahead of his final game in charge of West Ham United at the London Stadium against Luton Town.

West Ham play host to Luton later this afternoon, and everyone inside the stadium will surely give David Moyes a well-deserved send off after the full-time whistle.

Moyes is imminently set to be replaced by Julen Lopetegui, after the Hammers owners offered the Spaniard a two-year, £7 million contract.

On the whole, Moyes has worked wonders in charge of the Hammers.

Sure, the football deployed by the Scot has been dire to watch at times, but nobody can argue with his results.

The mere fact that he helped us end our 43-year wait for a major trophy tells its own story.

Moyes is an old fashioned coach who installed a bit of pride back into our great club, and we would all do well not to forget that.

The 61-year-old’s time is up in East London now, but with only two games left in charge of the Hammers, he clearly hasn’t lost his competitive edge…

Brutal Moyes comments ahead of West Ham vs Luton clash

Moyes is obviously taking his final two games in charge of the Hammers very seriously indeed.

The Scot certainly hasn’t lost his hunger for the game, that’s for sure.

He spoke to reporters ahead of the Hatters clash and came out all guns blazing, as quoted by WHUFC.com:

“Rob Edwards has done a brilliant job at Luton. To be a young manager, and navigate the Premier League with a team that’s been out of the division so long – and with the way they’ve come through the ranks over the last decade or so – is no mean feat. He’s got his team in with a chance of staying up, but I’ve got to try and take that chance away from him this weekend.”

That really is ruthless from the Scot.

Luton will be hoping that Moyes and his West Ham players are already on the beach, with three points an absolute must for them if they are to avoid the drop.

Unfortunately for the Hatters, that may well not be the case. Moyes will want to go out in style with a big win against Luton.

And judging by his comments to the press, the team from Bedfordshire could be in for a tough afternoon in East London.
