Human remains found in N.J. town 3 years ago are ID’d as missing N.Y. man

The remains of Kevin Morris have been recently identified, officials said. Morris went missing in 2011.

Authorities have identified human remains found in Atlantic County nearly three years ago as those of a New York City man who went missing more than a decade earlier.

Kevin Morris was 32 when he was reported missing in Staten Island in October 2011, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said Monday.

The remains were found near the 100 block of South Pomona Road in Galloway in June 2021, officials said. They were recently identified.

Authorities remains unsure how Morris died or ended up in Galloway.

He was last seen by his mother when heleft home to visit a girlfriend, according to reports. Morris had no known physical or mental ailments.
