Agency linked with Angel Di Maria have now visited Inter Miami's headquarters - journalist

An agency with links to Angel Di Maria have recently visited Inter Miami facilities having just pulled off a major MLS transfer.

The Argentine international has been rumored with a move to the Herons in recent weeks with Di Maria set to leave Benfica at the end of this season, where the 36-year-old attacker’s contract will come to and end.

However, Tata Martino recently poured cold water over the Florida franchise moving for Di Maria with the Inter Miami manager revealing that the means are not there yet for the Argentine to be signed this summer.

Yet an interesting update could now put the deal back on track.

Di Maria again links heat up as agency visit Inter Miami

Accoridng to journalist Favian Renkel, Elite Athlete Agency, who have previously worked with Inter Miami, have recently visited Inter Miami’s facilities, with the company this week playing a key role in Olivier Giroud’s move to Los Angeles FC.

As per the Renkel’s post, the agency have been working hard in the recent influx of French players at LAFC, with Elite Athlete Agency also involved in Hugo Lloris’ switch to the California franchise earlier in the year.

And with Elite Athlete Agency once working with Di Maria, their recent visit to Inter Miami could potentially hint at the Herons actually making a move for the Argentine forward.

Indeed, Di Maria has thrived alongside Lionel Messi on the international stage, and in what could be the final move of his career, the attacking midfielder could be keen on joining Inter Miami.

Herons need to weigh up if Di Maria move makes sense

As one of the biggest names in soccer and a teammate of Messi’s for Argentina, it makes sense why Di Maria is now being linked with a move to Inter Miami.

Yet for the Herons, the MLS franchise need to weigh up if a move for Di Maria actually makes sense this summer, especially with the defense in need of a major signing.

Whilst Di Maria would be a joy to watch at Inter Miami, the logistics of a deal might be too complicated for anything to happen, not to mention how important it is for Martino to bring in some added quality at the back.
