Powerball winning numbers, live results for Monday’s $47M drawing

The Powerball jackpot for Monday’s lottery drawing has jumped to an estimated $47 million with a cash option of $22 million.

The drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m. and televised on WABC-7 in New York City and Fox 29 in Philadelphia. NJ.com will publish the winning numbers immediately following the drawing.

No one across the country hit Saturday’s $37 million jackpot. There were also no second-prize, $1 million tickets sold.

Saturday’s winning numbers were: 3, 6, 39, 49 and 67. The Powerball drawn was 21 with a Power Play of 2X.

In addition, no one hit the secondary, $10 million Double Play drawing or won the $500,000 second prize on Saturday. The winning Double Play number were: 21, 24, 32, 39 and 55. The Double Play number drawn was 16.

The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who buys a $2 ticket has about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers and win at least $1 million, while the odds are 913,129 to 1 to win a third prize of at least $50,000.

Powerball drawings are held each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Tuesday’s Mega Millions jackpot is worth an estimated $363 million with a cash option of $166.9 million.
