Report: The two signings Chelsea have been delighted with as well as Cole Palmer

Cole Palmer has been a sensational signing for Chelsea, but he is not the only recent addition that the club are happy with.

It has been an incredible season for Cole Palmer following his move from Manchester City last summer.

In 43 appearances for Chelsea, the attacker has scored 24 goals and provided 14 assists.

He has really excelled in the Premier League, putting himself in contention for the Player of the Season award.

Other players who Chelsea recently signed have also impressed, though.

Which other signings are Chelsea happy with?

Since being taken over by Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital in 2022, Chelsea have brought in a lot of new players.

The above includes Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez, who are now the two most expensive signings in the club’s history.

However, according to The Telegraph, it is two cheaper additions who the Blues are really pleased with alongside Palmer: Nicolas Jackson and Malo Gusto.

Jackson cost Chelsea just £32m after joining from Villarreal in the last summer transfer window, while Gusto’s price tag was roughly the same.

Should Chelsea be pleased with the signings of Nicolas Jackson and Malo Gusto?

Jackson has scored 17 goals in 42 appearances this season and can still get to 20 with Chelsea having a couple of games left to play. That is not bad at all for a young forward who has just arrived in England.

Gusto, despite being a defender, has also brought some attacking threat to this Chelsea side.

The right-back has eight assists in 35 outings and softened the blow of losing Reece James, who has just returned from injury.

Costing around £30m each, signing Jackson and Gusto now looks like really good business. They are both so young as well so have time to get much better.

Ultimately, Chelsea can be happy with what they are getting from the two at the moment, especially considering how much they paid for them.
