A thuggish driver attacked another motorist sitting in his car in a road rage incident.
Police are investigating the alleged assault which happened in Courtenay Road, Dunkirk, near Faversham.
The victim’s mum posted a first-person testimony from her son of what happened on Sunday shortly after midday.
The younger driver who was attacked says a white Volvo was being driven in the centre of the road as it approached him - despite it not being his right of way.
A white male, aged between 40 and 50, left the car and confronted the younger motorist.
The post states: “‘It is my right of way,’ I said. ‘Why did you not move over?’, pointing to a large space where he could have easily moved over.
“He said: ‘You should have moved over.’”
The Volvo driver returns to his car as other motorists honk their horns.
But three minutes later, he leaves his vehicle and walks up to the offside driver’s side window again, which was left about 15cm open following the first encounter.
The post continues: “I again state, ‘It is my right of way, you need to reverse and pull into the gap to let me pass’.
“He then threw a punch through the window hitting my face and knocking my sunglasses off.”
A police spokesman says officers were called at about 1.30pm on Sunday to a report a driver had been assaulted by another motorist in Courtenay Road, Faversham.
“The incident was alleged to have happened at about 12.13pm,” he said.
“Inquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.”
