Just days after Hailey and Justin Bieber announced they’re expecting a baby, Benny Blanco has revealed his “next goal” in life is to have kids of his own with Selena Gomez, but according to her calendar, we’re not sure if it’ll be anytime soon.
The celebrity couple announced they were dating in December, although they’d been ‘secretly’ dating months before. It’s now around the one-year mark, and it looks like Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco may be hoping to move fast – with kids on the agenda.
Benny Blanco ‘wants to have kids’ with Selena Gomez
The couple don’t shy away from showing off their relationship to the public, with one too many PDA snaps to count. It seems like they’re not shy of talking about the ins and outs either, at least, Blanco isn’t.
The music producer revealed he was ‘ready to take the next step’ in his relationship with Selena Gomez during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show. “You have no room for kids in your life, right?” the host asked Benny Blanco.
“What do you mean?” the 36-year-old responded. “That’s like my next, goal on the box.” Although the EastSide star doesn’t have any kids of his own, he says he “has a ton of nephews” and loves being around kids.
Of course, the conversation then moved onto the topic of marriage as the producer was questioned on when he was going to propose, as their first anniversary is right around the corner. “When I look at her, I don’t know a world that can be better than this.”
Howard said he was “predicting marriage” for the pair, to which Benny replied “you and me both,” although it may not be anytime soon as the star admits he doesn’t have a ring, yet.
Some fans were overjoyed with the ‘announcement’ although others, weren’t so sure. “That’s so romantic!! Love them as a couple!” exclaimed one.
“That was so cute! I’m rooting for them,” another agreed.
However, not all were on the same page over the idea of Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco taking the plunge to have kids. “Gosh no!” exclaimed one, while another seemed uninterested in the topic. “We didn’t ask.”
Gomez is pretty busy at the moment
Although Blanco says he’s ready for the next chapter, it may not be coming anytime soon, as Gomez’s career in TV is currently thriving.
The upcoming reboot of Disney’s Wizards of Waverley Place reboot is on the horizon, and a trailer for season 4 of Only Murderers in the Building has just dropped, which will premiere on August 27th.
