What Steve Bruce told Amad Diallo to do after 3-2 Man Utd win, he's spot on

Amad Diallo was on fire for Manchester United on Wednesday night and now he’s been given some advice by Steve Bruce.

Wednesday night was a good one at Old Trafford as Manchester United beat Newcastle 3-2 and Amad Diallo emerged as a star.

Making only his second start of the season, Amad proved why he should be a consistent starter over Antony as he scored and assisted.

This saw him equal Antony’s season tally in the league for goals and assists, which makes the Brazilian look utterly terrible considering he’s played over 1,000 minutes more.

After the game, Amad was talking with Steve Bruce, who had some advice for the talented Ivorian winger.

What Steve Bruce told Amad

For Wednesday’s game, Bruce was on punditry duty for Premier League productions and post-game he was talking with Amad.

“You know what you’re going to do?”, Bruce told Amad.

“Tomorrow you’re going to knock on the manager’s door to tell him you want to play in the Cup final.”

This would be something Amad has every right to do, and we can’t imagine Erik ten Hag dropping him after his performances.

Amad clearly feels the same as he replies to Bruce saying, “No worries”.

It’s unlikely that Amad will need to tell Ten Hag, as if he doesn’t already know then he shouldn’t be the manager anymore.

Manchester United have a real superstar on their hands

Fans have long been excited to see Amad given a proper chance in the first team and now this desire is being justified as he continually impresses.

The fact is Antony had the majority of this season and has struggled to even show signs of being good enough for United.

Amad has the potential to be world-class and it’s about time he was treated as such as opposed to being used as an afterthought.

There is simply no debate for the final and onwards, Amad is United’s best right winger and he should be starting every game – unless of course, we do sign Michael Olise.
