UPDATE: DNA tests needed to ID remains found in 1 of 3 cars pulled from N.J. river

A body was found inside one of three cars pulled from the Cooper River in Camden County on Thursday afternoon, authorities said.

The cars were pulled from the water near Cooper River Park in Pennsauken, according to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.

The identity of the person found is pending DNA testing.

Pennsauken Police Chief Philip P. Olivo deferred all comments to the prosecutor’s office.
