George Russell didn't appear too impressed with Lewis Hamilton admitting to 'shooting his shot' with Jennifer Lopez at the Met Gala this week.
Hamilton has kept his love life private ever since his split from Nicole Scherzinger back in 2015.
Rumours throughout the years have romantically linked the seven-time world champion with celebrities such as Rihanna, Shakira and Rita Ora.
Hamilton was at the Met Gala earlier this month along with some of the world's biggest celebrities and he was able to speak to one of his childhood crushes.
Singer and actress Lopez, who is married to Hollywood star Ben Affleck, appeared at the red carpet event without her husband.
Hamilton used the opportunity to confess his love to Lopez at the Met Gala and he spoke about the exchange during a fan event at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
"I told her how much I loved her," Hamilton said.
Hamilton was appearing on stage with Mercedes team-mate Russell, who quickly interjected to add: "She's married though."
That didn't appear to deter Hamilton, who added: "I just told her the whole story of I fell in love with her as a youngster.
"You know, she's beautiful."
Russell took a dig at his team-mate, replying: "I'm sure her husband really appreciated that."
But Hamilton joked: "Batman wasn't there so I took my shot."
The 39-year-old qualified in eighth for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix as he struggled to get to grips with his Mercedes once again.
The Silver Arrows brought in big upgrades to Imola this week and Hamilton was largely pleased with the changes made.
But Hamilton felt the car was a bit out of control by the time they got to qualifying.
"Our car is on a knife edge. We are making the smallest changes from session to session, trying not to do the big changes we have done in the past," he said.
"It felt really good yesterday, the upgrades felt great on track. For us in general, coming into today, it felt like a lack of rear end then when we got into qualifying the rear was a lot more loose than it was in previous sessions.
"All you can do is try and combat it when you are out there.
"But the rear temperatures end up getting hotter through the lap, so the car was sliding more and once you get to the last corner, the car feels a lot different."
