Jurgen Klopp shares how he feels about Pep Guardiola amid Man City's 115 charges

Jurgen Klopp has revealed how he feels about Pep Guardiola given the fact that Manchester City have made 115 financial alleged breaches.

Whether Manchester City are guilty or not is yet to be proven, with the club constantly called into question due to these charges made by the Premier League.

It seems like some hesitate to give City the credit they deserve due to these charges unless it is proven that they were innocent all along.

Klopp shares Guardiola verdict amid Man City facing 115 charges

If indeed the Sky Blues are proven guilty of breaking the Premier League’s financial rules, a club that many will feel have suffered due to this reason is Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool. After all, Klopp’s side lost two league titles to Manchester City by one point in 2019 and 2022 respectively.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp, however, believes Pep Guardiola has been the ultimate reason behind Manchester City’s recent success, regardless of the 115 financial charges.

Klopp said via The Express: “Everybody knows about the 115 charges but I have no clue what that means.”

“I only know the number.”

“If you put any other manager in that club, they don’t win the league four times in a row. That’s down to him and his team.”

The German manager continued: “Does that mean they can do whatever they want? No. But I don’t know what they did, if they did anything and I’m not here to say they have.”

“We will see. Of course, I would like to know [what the verdict is] one day. Everyone wants to know. But I will be somewhere else.”

Jurgen Klopp continued: “The quality of Pep [Guardiola] makes the difference so I don’t worry about these things.”

“We will see. It’s not my problem and I am fine with what we have and what we’ve achieved.”

The Liverpool boss raises a valid point about Pep Guardiola

In our view, Jurgen Klopp has raised a valid point about Manchester City tactician Pep Guardiola about the 115 financial charges in place.

Regardless of whether City are innocent or guilty, the players in question and the £378,746-a-week man’s brilliance should be called into question.

When watching Manchester City over the years, as Jurgen Klopp suggested, one can still notice the coaching ideas Pep Guardiola has put into place.

In addition, the charges are unrelated to how Guardiola has managed to keep his team motivated season after season.

Similarly, Kevin De Bruyne’s incredible passing range and Ederson Moraes’ elite distribution are unaffected by the charges in place.

It would be unfair to play Guardiola and his players’ excellence down as their focus has been on all things on the pitch over the past few seasons.
